About Us

Las Cruces Orthopaedic Associates Robert M. Stack, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in traumatology at Harborview Medical Center at the University of Washing in Seattle. He received a BS degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a M.D. at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Dr. Stack's specialty training in orthopedic surgery was completed at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. he opened a private practice in Las Cruces in 1976. Dr. Stack formed Las Cruces Orthopedic Associates in 1992. Dr. Stack also serves as an orthopedic consultant for New Mexico State University.
Las Cruces Orthopaedic Associates Michael S. McGuire is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL. He received a BS degree at Brown University in Providence, RI and a M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. McGuire's specialty training in orthopedic surgery was completed at the University of New Mexico Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. McGuire serves as an orthopedic consultant for New Mexico State University. He has been with Las Cruces Orthopedic Associates since 1996.
Las Cruces Orthopaedic Associates Daniel A. Romanelli, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery in Los Angeles, CA. He received his BA from University of California, Los Angeles, and medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Romanelli serves as an orthopedic consultant for New Mexico State University, all the Las Cruces High Schools and is one of the physicians for the US soccer team. He has been in Las Cruces since 2005.

Wayne C. Lindsey, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Lindsey received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. He received his surgical and orthopedic training at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO. Dr. Lindsey serves as an orthopedic consultant for New Mexico State University. He has been in Las Cruces since 2003.

Las Cruces Orthopaedic Associates Dr. Paul Saiz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame which included 6 months of study in Mexico City. Dr. Saiz received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX after attending on a full scholarship, and completed his orthopaedic residency at the Phoenix Orthopaedic Residency Program in Phoenix, AZ. He went on to complete two fellowships, one in Spinal Reconstructive Surgery at the Sonoran Spine Center in Phoenix and another in Musculoskeletl Oncology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Saiz is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society. Dr. Saiz also serves as a consultant in Trabecular metal technology for Zimmer as well as an Orthopedic consultant for New Mexico State University. His specialty includes diseases and disorders of the Spine, Musculoskeletal Oncology, Tumors of the spine, Spine trauma and is certified in percutaneous reduction of vertebral fractures (Kyphoplasty).
